1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing Utah Malayalees services, registering for an event, making a donation, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms of Service and any event-specific information shown before checkout. If you do not agree, please do not use the service or complete a purchase.
2. Community accounts and accurate information
Provide accurate, current information when creating an account or purchasing a ticket. You are responsible for activity under your account and for promptly notifying us if you believe it has been used without your authorization. Community access and event participation may be subject to approval and eligibility requirements.
3. Event tickets and registration
Ticket availability, prices, age eligibility, capacity, venue rules, and sales periods are shown for each event. A ticket or RSVP is valid only for the event and attendee information associated with the confirmed registration. We may refuse, cancel, or revoke a registration where permitted by law, including for inaccurate information, suspected fraud, safety concerns, or a breach of these terms or event rules.
4. Payments, fees, and donations
Online payments are processed by Stripe through its secure hosted checkout. The final amount, including applicable taxes and purchaser-paid processing fees, is displayed before you submit payment. Optional donations are charged once per checkout, are separate from ticket prices, and are non-refundable unless required by law. Your payment information is handled by Stripe and is not stored by Utah Malayalees.
5. Cancellations and refunds
The cancellation and refund policy displayed for the applicable event governs that purchase. Where an event-specific policy permits a refund, the eligible amount and deadline are determined from the confirmed registration and applicable policy. If Utah Malayalees cancels an event, we will provide the remedy stated in the event-specific policy or required by law.
6. Event conduct and venue care
Participants must act respectfully and safely. Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, intoxicated, or otherwise inappropriate behavior is not permitted. At school, rental, and shared venues, participants must remain only in authorized areas, follow venue instructions, leave rooms and property as found, and must not damage, move, or alter venue equipment, furnishings, displays, or facilities. We may remove a participant from an event for unsafe or disruptive conduct without a refund where permitted by law.
7. Changes to events or these terms
Event schedules, activities, venues, speakers, menus, and other details may change when reasonably necessary. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material event changes to registered attendees. We may revise these Terms of Service; the date above shows when they were last updated. Continued use after a revision means you accept the revised terms.
